This page is about about my sister Adeline. I call her Addie. Addie is six years older than me. She does know what is going on with me, but she is not affected by the disease. She watches over me alot.
She does neat things like driving a junior dragster and being in plays. She plays with me on the computer, Nintendo, in the yard, and in the pool. I help her when she is drag racing. I push her car, make sure her tires have air, and she has something to drink. Sometimes she lets me drive her car( while it is being towed behind the golf cart. ) I even beat her in racing a couple times at Thunder Valley and Mason Dixion, Shawna Ficco and Tim Holtzappledrove for me.
She has friends over that I call my friends. I bug them when they are here, until mom or dad tells me to stop. She has gone with me on our adventures. Sometimes she just stands back and watches. She understands why we are doing this, but lets me have my time.
I love my sister, even though she gets on my nerves from time to time. It is not like I get her upset with me.
Note from Addie:
Hello. Im addie. I am a seinor at Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts, currently in the Theatre Magnet. Well, since this is my page, I'll tell you some things about me. I am involved in my school and my friends. I am in Flagline, Mock Trial, Dragracing, and have been involved in many productions at our school. The most recent productons are the Seinor Seminar production of Fuddy Meers (April 10-12 at 7:00 pm in the Black Box) and the school musical Beauty and the Beast (already over...sorry!). Hopefully, I get into the college of my choice to study Forensic Science and Theatre Performance.
I have been to Indiana, Florida, Tennessee, all over Maryland, Virginia Beach, and Kansas/Missouri. Hopefully I can go to many more places (perferably England). Tennesse I have been going to for the past four years because of dragracing. Mostly at the NHRA and NASCAR tracks in Thunder Valley....I know the tracks like the back of my hand. lol.
I basically have about a handful of friends... maybe 10 in no specific order.
1.Dj, he's like a brother to me. we could talk about anything and hold any grudges. Working with him is never a dull moment, if we're not fighing about something then something is wrong.
2.Lauren, is a very close friend, we can tell each other anything and give eachother good advice about it. Boys, family, girl problems, we cover it all.
3.Christen is like one of my best friends in the whole world. We have been through alot together and will never stop being friends. From middle school through high school. Hopefully we will be close even through college.
4.Sarah, is like my confidante. I can tell her anything and we can have a good time together doing anything. Flagline practice is always better with her to help figure out what the crap we are doing and I would be a total mess without her to help me in my times of crisis, and i know she feels the same.
5.Ashley is the same thing, except we can have a great time doing absolutely nothing. Just driving around downtown, listening to music, yelling at drivers, eating at IHOP or Dennys (cause Friendly's is for bitches), and then going to the mall, eating at the Rainforest Cafe and throwing yellow crayons down each other's shirts is how we get our kicks! Going to the harbor and eating snoballs with larry friend and the falling up down escalators is how we roll. We make just walking down the street fun.
6. Tim is completely and totally awsome! I'll never forget when I started racing and I rolled my car the second week. He was the first person there to help me out. we've been great friends ever since. We dont see each other except for at racing but even then we have good times.
7. Val is my closest friend. I've known her my entire life and will keep knowing her hopefully forever. I dont need to write about how awsome she is (and how she only comes over to eat my food...excuse me, get hungry alot and then eat my food.)
Nick? He is a pain in my butt. No lie. But he is my brother so I do love him on some level. Most people think he is so cute and adorable but I just think of him as my brother. Yes, he is sick I realize, but even though he is, I treat him just like I would if he wasn't. Gives him some sence of reality I think. Even though we are all upset by this, we still go on with things that we can deal with, one step at a time. It's like when you first learn how to walk. You keep trying and trying until you get it right. Well, that's how this is. If you would like to contact me, e-mail me at info@nicksbattle.com or aheuchan@msn.com.
